When Abdulgader al Harthi, the IT Department Manager of TASNEE, decided to certify his organisation against the standards set by ISO 20000, TASNEE trusted IT Security Consultants in Saudi, I(TS)2, persuaded them that there would be considerable value in twinning this project with another for the implementation of ISO27000 processes that was already under discussion.
Security experts I(TS)2, then sub-contracted Quintica to help mentor and upgrade the IT Service Management environment, and also implement the “Eye of the Storm” from Entuity.
Quintica principle consultant Keith Reynolds took on the “soft” part of a program as part of a team that also included Nuruddin Kamdar to implement “Eye” and Ariel Manka to install a fresh new Remedy application, also supported with Atrium Discovery and Dependency Mapping.
The
result was an environment that the auditor said was probably one
of the first ISO20000; 2011 certifications in the world, since
the new standard was released just a few weeks earlier, and also
one of the cleanest ITSM support environments he had audited in
a career covering more than 800, with excellent use of the
appropriate tools.
